OMG!!!

Our little baby girl is coming in less than a week!!! I am getting so nervous for some reason, but I am looking forward to not being pregnant anymore and holding my baby!
I have had a lot of back pain lately so Gary got me a gift certificate to go get a massage this week and I am going to take advantage of that tomorrow. Hopefully it will help me relax a little and make my back feel better.

Happy Anniversary to us!

Yesterday Gary & I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I can't believe we got married a year ago already! It went by way too fast! To celebrate, we went to the casino and did some gambling and went to dinner at the Rodizio. We did not win much money, but it was fun. And dinner was so good! We ate way too much because they just keep bringing you more and more different meats to try and all the sides you can eat. Then we came home and ate some of the top of our wedding cake that we kept in our freezer. I thought it would be awful, but it wasn't that bad. I did feel a little sick to my stomach during the night from eating so much though.
Anyways, thought I would post some pics from the wedding last year. Our wedding was, in my mind, amazing. I was so happy that we had all our friends and family there with us and we had a lot of fun! The kids were so cute dancing and running around until they got tired out.

"Do you have to go potty?"

"Do you have to go potty?" That is what I have said 100 times already today. Sean & I found Thomas the train underwear at Target last night and he was so excited about it that he had to wear it today. He is attempting to go potty every 20 minutes today. I wasn't going to really push the whole going on the potty thing until sometime after the baby, but if he wants to try to go I am not going to stop him. He's already got going #2 on the potty down, it's just the pee we are working on.

This is my bargain of the week. I got this train table off of craigslist yesterday for $25 and it is almost brand new! I love getting good deals on things...this is why I have clutter! Anyways, Sean loves it and now he has a place for his trains because it has drawers on both sides. Alexis was helping him set up his tracks this morning before school. We put it in the playroom, so now I need to take some other stuff out of there.
Back to seeing if Sean has to go potty again I go...

Favorite baby things

Here are some of my favorite things in the baby's room right now...

my rocker/ glider
I can't wait to sit there and hold my little baby girl

Sean's big brother shirt & Lexi's big sister shirt
they are going to wear to the hospital to meet their little sister

Baby's bag to bring to the hospital
filled with baby clothes, blankets & cute little things

the little monkey Alexis bought for her with her allowance.
she keeps talking about how much baby will love it!

picture frame that her first little handprint will go in

I think this will be her outfit she will come home in or have hospital pictures in.

My new Coach diaper bag (love it & can't wait to use it!)
didn't need it, but it's just so cute!
I had another appointment today and another sonogram. I haven't gained any weight in about a month and my stomach wasn't measuring any bigger, so they were worried that the baby wasn't growing. That wasn't the case though because the baby is now estimated to be 6lbs 12oz, so she is getting bigger and growing just like she should be. I also got hooked up to the machines that monitor her movement because I told them it felt like she was slowing down moving lately. Of course she started kicking away the second I got hooked up, so that is all good too. I just need to count her movements during the day now.

Organizing before baby

I have been trying to get organized around the house since the baby is coming and I know how sore I will be when I come home from the hospital. It seems like the more I organize, the more mess I make. I decided we have way too much stuff and need to get rid of it, but I can't seem to throw it all away. Now I am planning on having a garage sale. Probably after the baby so I will have to just throw it in the garage for a few weeks. I do have most of the baby room done and have the crib ready and waiting for her!

I also have a huge to do list that just seems to be getting longer instead of smaller. I get stuff done, cross it out and then remember something else I need to do and add it to the bottom. I don't think I will ever get it all done! I tried getting some of it done today...like calling about my credit card being charged twice for something...that is not a fun phone call because I was on the phone forever and it's still not taken care of. Very frustrating! And I just realized that my insurance company has my wrong birthday and I need to get that fixed ASAP.

On another note...Sean told me today my stomach is humongous. I didn't even know he knew that word! He was drawing me on his magna doodle and said "here is your humongous belly". That was very exciting to hear. lol.

Alexis has her last karate class tomorrow night. We signed her up for a 6 week trial class through her school and she loves it. She talks about it all the time and is really good at it for only having done a few classes. She loves showing off her moves!

18 more days...

Baby Alana Leigh will be here in just 18 more days! I had another appointment yesterday and the doctor said I looked small and wants me to have another sonogram next week. Everything looks good. He just wants to make sure the baby is growing like she should be. I don't know how he thinks I am small because I took some belly pics and they sure aren't small...
My tattoo is beyond stretched out...never get a tattoo on your stomach if you plan to have babies!
Alexis & Sean can't wait for their baby sister to get here. Alexis talks to my stomach and gives lots of kisses. Sean has been talking about her more now. I told him the other day that she will be here soon and we will be able to hold her and he asked if she will talk. I told him not when she is a little baby. He then asked, "Will she need batteries?" ha ha! I don't really think he is understanding as much I thought he was!

29 days to go...

29 days until my little baby girl arrives! I had a doctor appointment today and everything looks good. I also had a sonogram and the baby is estimated to be 5 lbs 15 oz right now, which means the baby will probably be around 8 lbs at birth. Another big baby for us! I will have no use for those newborn clothes I bought if they are right...she will go right to the 3 month clothes. She was hiding her face for most of the sonogram, but she moved a little to see her profile. And it looks like she has some hair already! I can't wait to see & hold her!!!

This past Saturday, Gary's uncle got married and Alexis & Sean & Gary were all in the wedding. The kids looked so cute all dressed up. They danced all night long and had so much fun! It was a hawaiian themed reception.

Beginning a blog

So, I finally decided to try this out and start a blog. Hopefully, I will remember to keep it updated and it won't be boring!
