Birthday Girl

My pretty birthday girl turned 6 on Saturday! Happy Birthday Alexis!!

She wanted to have a party with just her friends at Kidz Club this year so that is what we did. She invited some friends from school and some from karate. They all had fun playing there for a couple hours and having some goodies. Alexis got a lot of toys and books she was excited about. Then she had her first sleepover with her best friend. We got pizza, watched a movie and made ice cream sundaes. She said she loved turning 6! I still can't believe she is 6 already, it doesn't seem like that long ago when she was born.

Sean's 1st Day

Here is my little man all ready for his first day of nursery school. His first day was Monday and it was meet the teacher day and I stayed with him. Today though was his first day I left him there. It was just for an hour, but I found it very hard to leave him there. He was absolutely fine, walked right in and sat down and said bye. After I finally pulled myself away from him and walked out the door, I got a little teary-eyed, but I pulled it together. We both got through the day and he can't wait until the next school day...I can.

Fair Fun!

The fair is over now, but it was fun while it lasted. I brought the kids 3 times and they LOVED it!!! They went on tons of rides, ate lots of food and did a lot of walking around.

Today was my baby girl's first day of 1st grade! She was so excited, not even a bit nervous about going to school all day. I was more nervous than she was! She came home and couldn't stop telling me about how much she loved school and was so happy she's there all day and not only a little bit like kindergarten was. I asked her if she missed me at least a little and she said "not even for a minute!" Then she said, "well, maybe just a second on the bus." Her favorite part was that she had music class today and played tap sticks. She said her teacher is really nice and she liked eating lunch in the cafeteria. Tomorrow she has gym and can't wait!!
