I finally got a good picture of Alana smiling! She makes me smile just looking at her!

She has so many freckles that come out in the summer
That pretty smile might look different soon. She went to the dentist this week who referred us to an oral surgeon. We need to go talk to them next week to discuss a frenectomy (snipping the line of her gums that goes down inbetween her front teeth). It needs to be done soon before her baby teeth fall out. If we don't get it done, her 2 front teeth will never touch and she will always have a space there. I don't think she would like that very much when her adult teeth start coming in, so we are going to go through with the procedure. I hope it's not to hard to do and I hope she handles it well.

I love reading all the updates. You certainly got a beautiful smile on my "god daughter" I love saying that. I'm sure Lexi will do just fine, who is the oral surgeon you are going to?
